NeNe Leakes' son, Brentt, lost 100 pounds after he had a stroke.
Three months after the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum revealed that her 23-year-old son Brentt suffered a stroke and congestive heart failure, he shared photos and a clip showing off his new look.
"Focus on you until The focus is you. #100poundsdown," he wrote on Instagram.
The post featured a before-and-after snap of his weight loss. The three other photos and clip showed Brentt with a slimmer figure as he rocked a red velvet tracksuit and Celine sweatband.
Brentt's friends and followers left supportive and encouraging messages for him in the comments section.
"Omg!!!!! You look amazing!!!" one follower wrote. Another person commented, "Good job, Brent. You look great. Keep doing your thing. Wishing you good health."
"There is nothing in this world that God cannot do. He healed you and I am happy for you and your mom. It is hard to see a child get sick!!" a third person commented.
"Health is wealth. Continue pushing and get that," a fourth person wrote.
"Congratulations on your weight loss. I hope you're feeling better as well," another user said.
Some offered unsolicited advice for Brentt to avoid weight gain. "To keep it off, exercise and diet ... 'cause that hundred can creep back on you [really] fast. I know from experience," one user said.
In early October 2022, Bentt, who appeared alongside his mom on "RHOA," was transported to a hospital after a medical emergency, TMZ reported.
NeNe revealed her son's illness via her Instagram Stories in the same month.
"Two weeks ago today Brentt had congested [sic] heart failure and a stroke," she said, Page Six reported. "He's only 23 so he's really young for something like that to happen to him."
NeNe explained at the time that Brentt has been "struggling with speaking" but has "shown some improvement, and we're really happy and blessed for that."
After Brentt's stay in the hospital, he was transferred to a rehab facility to continue his recovery. Two months later, the reality star shared footage of her son walking again.
"Yay! You're walking out," NeNe exclaimed. "Two months later, Brentt is walking out. Hallelujah."
She then added in her caption, "To God be the Glory."
