Netflix Drops 'Family Roast' Teaser Featuring Jonas Brothers [Video]
Netflix has dropped a teaser for the upcoming comedy show "Family Roast" featuring the Jonas Brothers — Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas.
The streaming platform shared the 48-second clip on its official Twitter account Monday. In the caption, it wrote, "It's the @jonasbrothers like you've never seen them before – getting a roasting they'll never forget. @netflixisajoke presents Jonas Brothers Family Roast. November 23rd, only on Netflix."
The teaser opens with Nick, 29, introducing himself and his brothers before sharing a "very exciting announcement." Joe, 32, chimes in to say, "Roasted."
However, Nick stops him, saying, "That's not quite how that works, Joe."
Nick goes on to explain that they are doing a "Jonas Brothers Family Roast" and it is going to be a "one-of-a-kind comedy special that celebrates the universal truth that no one can get under your skin quite like your family."
"Roasted," Joe says once more.
Kevin, 33, speaks, saying fans will see them as they have never seen before "through sketches, songs, games and special guests." Nick then confirms that all these activities will happen on the show to roast them.
"And roasted," Joe says again.
Kevin says that the show is hosted by Emmy award-winning comedian Kenan Thompson. He and Nick also reveal their roster of celebrity guests, which includes Pete Davidson, Niall Horan, Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, John Legend, Lilly Singh and Jack Whitehall.
Nick ends the video by saying the special is slated to premiere globally on Nov. 23, only on Netflix.
Jonas Brothers' official Twitter handle also shared the clip and as expected, comments from fans quickly poured in. Many of them said they are looking forward to the special, while others shared excitement for the guest stars that will be featured on the show.
"Ahhh, the pleasure of roasting your family, especially your brothers I get that," a fan wrote. "@JoeJonas this is gonna be funnnnnn I CAN'T WAIT GUYS LET'S GET ITTTT."
Besides the comedy special, Nick will be next seen in the musical drama "Jersey Boys LIVE," which is helmed by director Des McAnuff and is slated for release next year. The movie also stars Matt Bogart, Andy Karl, Cj Pawlikowski and Sydney Morton.
Joe, on the other hand, will appear in the action-packed war movie "Devotion," which is directed by J. D. Dillard. The movie also stars Daren Kagasoff, Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell.
As for Kevin, he was last seen with his brothers in the music video for "Who's in Your Head," which came out on Sept. 30.
