Netflix took to Twitter on Tuesday to share their new rom-com drama, "The Royal Treatment" featuring Laura Marano and Mena Massoud.

The one-minute, 43-second trailer opens with Isabella, played by Marano, crossing a street and heading towards a newspaper shop. She reads the headline of a newspaper loud, "Hot prince visit makes temperatures rise in the city."

She immediately shows the shop owner the photo of Prince Thomas - played by Massoud - and criticized his hairstyle. In the next scene, Marano learns that she has been invited to a royal wedding to do the hair and makeup as she owns a beauty shop.

The trailer shows the actress reaching a castle to do her dream job and meets Prince Thomas. He reveals further in the clip that he is getting married in parents' pressure and ends up falling in love with her instead. At the end of the clip, as Isabella character gets into the car to leave, the young prince asks her not to go.

"The Royal Treatment" is slated to stream on Netflix from Jan. 20 onwards.

Fans in the comments section shared their reactions. One of the fans recalled Massoud's comment on nobody hiring him after playing "Aladdin" and noted that he finally got work. Another user wrote that they are excited about this movie.

"The Royal Treatment" was filmed in New Zealand and directed by Rick Jacobson.

The movie revolves around Isabella running a salon while Prince Thomas is occupied with his royal duties and running his own country. Their paths cross at a royal wedding and the two learn how they need to be in charge of their own destiny.

This is not the first time when the 30-year-old actor is playing Prince's character. Previously, he played "Aladdin" dropped by Disney in 2019 where he pretended to be a prince in order to win Jasmine's heart.

The actor will also feature in a movie titled "In Broad Daylight," which is currently under pre-production and expected to release in 2022.

Marano, on the other hand, will feature in a movie, titled "2 Men & a Pig," which is helmed by director Ted Collins. The movie also features Dermot Mulroney, Neal McDonough, Thomas Lennon and Alycia Cooper.
