Netflix Has So Many Christmas Movies And Specials Premiering In November
As soon as the trick-or-treating is over, Netflix is going into full Christmas mode. The streaming service is adding tons of new originals in November, and many of them are holiday-themed. Check out all of the original Christmas movies, specials and TV shows coming to Netflix in November:
Nov. 1 — “Holiday in the Wild” — Kristin Davis plays a New Yorker whose husband leaves her right before their second honeymoon. She decides to go to Africa solo and meets a pilot (Rob Lowe) who needs her help rescuing an orphaned baby elephant. They take care of him at an elephant sanctuary, and Kate extends her vacation through Christmas.
Nov. 8 — “Let It Snow” — Based on the book by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle, this movie follows a group of teens on Christmas Eve. Their friendships and love lives intersect in a “Love Actually”-esque way, and their lives will be forever changed by Christmas morning. The cast includes Shameik Moore, Kiernan Shipka, Jacob Batalon and Joan Cusack.
Nov. 8 — “The Great British Baking Show: Holidays” Season 2 — Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith judge holiday treats from “Baking Show” alums.
Nov. 15 — “Klaus” — This animated holiday comedy is directed by “Despicable Me” co-creator Sergio Pablos. Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) is a terrible postman and gets sent to the small community in the Arctic Circle where everyone is just as icy as the weather. That’s where he meets local teacher Alva (Rashida Jones) and Klaus (J.K. Simmons), a mysterious carpenter whose cabin is full of handmade toys. Their friendship brings a certain warmth back to the town. Joan Cusack, Will Sasso and Norm Macdonald also lend their voices.
Nov. 21 — “The Knight Before Christmas” — Medieval knight Sir Cole (Josh Whitehouse) is sent to present-day Ohio and meets science teacher Brooke (Vanessa Hudgens). She wants to help him fulfill his destiny and go home, but Cole quickly realizes he might not want to leave Brooke. Emmanuelle Chriqui, Isabelle Franca, Ella Kenion and Jean-Michel Le Gal also star.
Nov. 22 — “Nailed It! Holiday!” Season 2 — See more Christmas-themed baking fails.
Nov. 26 — “Super Monsters Save Christmas” — The Super Monsters join forces to deck the halls, find Santa's missing reindeer and save Christmas.
Nov. 26 — “True: Winter Wishes” — Everything is freezing over in the Rainbow Kingdom—including citizens. True must save Winter Wishfest and her friends.
Nov. 28 — “Holiday Rush” — Radio DJ Rush Williams (Romany Malco) got into the habit of spoiling his kids after their mom’s death, but he has to cut back after he loses his job just before Christmas. His producer Roxy Richardson (Sonequa Martin-Green) and his Aunt Jo (Darlene Love) want to help him buy a station, but the family will have to embrace a simpler life quickly. Can Rush reconnect with his kids without all the material things?
Nov. 28 — “Merry Happy Whatever” — This sitcom follows a strong-willed father (Dennis Quaid) who has to navigate the holiday season when his daughter (Bridgit Mendler) brings her new struggling musician boyfriend (Brent Morin) home for the holidays. Ashley Tisdale, Hayes MacArthur and Tyler Ritter also star.
Nov. 29 — “Sugar Rush Christmas” — The baking competition gets a holiday twist. Guest judges include Tiffani Thiessen, Liza Koshy, Donal Skehan, Jeanine Mason, Amirah Kassem and Olympic gold medalist Meryl Davis.
