Netflix Movies Disappearing 2015: Over 90 Movies And TV Shows Expiring In February
It’s time to start binge-watching again because Netflix is taking away some favorite titles. The streaming service will remove more than films and TV shows in February. Luckily, viewers don’t have to do a marathon of every title before Feb. 1. Netflix will take titles down on different dates throughout the month, but fans of all genres will be affected, according to the Hollywood Reporter and Screen Crush.
James Bond fans will be losing several 007 titles. “From Russia With Love,” “Never Say Never Again” and “Goldfinger” are just a few of the Sean Connery Bond films that will disappear on Feb. 1. Action fans will lose several Batman films, including “Batman & Robin,” “Batman Returns” and “Batman Forever.”
Anyone who enjoys British imports may already have heard that many BBC titles will be axed soon. While favorites like “Doctor Who” and “Sherlock” will stick around, older series won’t be so lucky. If you want to catch a young James Corden (the newest “Late Late Show” host), watch “Gavin and Stacey” Season 1. “House” fans might want to see a young Hugh Laurie with Stephen Fry in “A Bit of Fry and Laurie” Seasons 1-4. Both titles will disappear from Netflix on Feb. 1.
Animation fans will also be losing many titles too. “Jem and the Holograms” Seasons 1-3 will be removed from Netflix on Feb. 2. The '80s hit will become a live-action movie this year starring “Nashville” actress Aubrey Peeples. More recent children’s favorites are exiting as well: "Phineas and Ferb" Seasons 1-3, “Transformers Prime” Seasons 1-3 and “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” Seasons 1-4.
It isn’t just animated shows that will be disappearing. "Scrubs" Seasons 1-9 and “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” Seasons 1-5 also will be removed from Netflix. However, fans have until Feb. 4 to watch those. Check out what else is leaving Netflix:
