Netflix’s ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Sequel Movie Officially Happening
In the words of star Lana Condor: It’s officially official, a “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” sequel is in the works!
Condor, who will once again star as Lara Jean, made the announcement on Wednesday with an Instagram video. The clip, of course, features her co-star, Noah Centineo, who plays Peter in the teen rom-com franchise.
“It’s happening! So excited to announce #ToAllTheBoysSequel is coming soon.... let's do this,” Condor captioned the post.
Along with announcing that a second “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” movie is officially in development, Condor also teased that the perfect actor to play John Ambrose, a possible new love interest, has been found.
From Awesomeness Films, Ace Entertainment and Overbrook Entertainment, the sequel to the 2018 movie will be produced by Matt Kaplan and Dougie Cash and written by Sofia Alvarez, who wrote the first movie, as well.
No release date or official movie title has been set yet. It’s not clear which other original actors, aside from Condor and Centineo, will return.
