Bryan Singer made it to the trending topics on Twitter with #LockUpBryanSinger. Simultaneously, petitions were submitted online against the “Bohemian Rhapsody” director.

Netizens flooded the said social media platform with #LockUpBryanSinger as a way of speaking up against the famous director and producer over sexual assault and child trafficking allegations.

Elijah Daniel, a social media influencer, took to Twitter and shared his own experience with Singer and his friends. Daniel claimed that Singer and his friends reached out to him multiple times and invited him to hang out with the director, Republic World reported.

Two petitions were submitted at change.org against the “Bohemian Rhapsody” director. Investigate Singer authored the petition “Investigate Bryan Singer for His ‘Alleged’ Sexual Conduct Against Minors” to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

An overview of the petition stated that Singer had allegations for sexual assault, abuse and misconduct to minors for over two decades. The petition appealed for an investigation for the said alleged crimes against the director.

The petition started 6 days ago and to-date, the same already has 40,000 supporters. The goal of the petition was to collect the online confirmation of 50,000 people and currently, more than 46,000 have signed the online petition.

Meanwhile, Regan McGuire started the petition to the Directors Guild of America and its president, Thomas Schlamme. The petition was entitled “Director’s Guild of America to kick out Bryan Singer.”

The description of the petition alleged that Singer was an abuser, a rapist and a sexual harasser. The petition claimed that Singer should not be allowed a directing credit for the 2018 film “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The petition further stated that the only reason why he still has the directing credit was because of the guild’s rules.

The aim of the petition, which started about a year ago, was to collect 3,000 online conformities. More than 3,000 people have already signed the online petition, to-date.

The campaign for additional signatures on the online petition is on-going.

Daniel recently tweeted about being told that Singer was hiding. How Singer was hiding was not clear but according to Daniel, Singer had already switched his Instagram account to private and deleted a lot of posts.
