James Bond will be making his return in 2015 with the franchise's 24th film.

Digital Spy reports that "Skyfall" director Sam Mendes and screen writer John Logan will resume their roles for the next film. Daniel Craig will also return as James Bond, but no other cast members have been named at this point.

Sony Pictures has scheduled the film, which is still untitled, for a Nov. 6, 2015, release date.

"Following the extraordinary success of 'Skyfall,' we're really excited to be working once again with Daniel Craig, Sam Mendes and John Logan," said producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli in a statement.

Questions about who would direct the film grew after Mendes told Britain's Empire magazine that he wouldn't be returning due to commitments he had with his stage productions "King Lear" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

But the situation worked itself out and Mendes is sharing his excitement to be taking on the new movie, USA Today reports.

"I very much look forward to taking up the reins again, and to working with Daniel Craig, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for a second time," Mendes said.

"Skyfall" brought in a a whopping $1.1 billion worldwide, claiming the title as the highest grossing film in the U.K.
