New Movies On Netflix This Summer: ‘Clueless,’ ‘V For Vendetta’ Streaming June 1

Netflix has plenty of new movies, TV shows and comedy specials coming this summer. June will kick off with the return of fan-favorite movies, and Netflix will release highly-anticipated originals throughout the month.

“Clueless,” the 1995 teen comedy adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Emma,” is back on the streaming service on Monday, June 1. Political thriller “V for Vendetta” and horror classic “Silence of the Lambs” were just added to Netflix as well.

Looking for something more family-friendly? “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” is also streaming in June. More family fun will be found in the Netflix originals releasing this month. The final season of “Fuller House” premieres Tuesday, June 2. “Alexa and Katie,” “Mr. Iglesias,” and “Pokémon Journeys” will also be added.

That's not all Netflix has to offer, though. They have quite a mix of dark dramas, heartwarming reality shows and informative political programs. The final season of “13 Reasons Why” will be released on June 5, the same day the much-lighter “Queer Eye” Season 5 comes out. “The Order” Season 2 and “The Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj” will also be out in June.

Meanwhile, recent TV favorites will add the latest episodes. ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder,” The CW’s “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” and FX’s “Pose” all will release their most recent seasons to streaming.
