The AFC East is always the most predictable NFL division, and that should be the case for at least one more year. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are looking for their 11th straight first-place finish with the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins all fighting for second place.

How many games will each AFC East team win in the 2019 NFL season? Below are predictions for the division, based on the latest over/under win totals at New Jersey’s FanDuel Sportsbook.

New England Patriots: 11 Wins (-130 Over/+110 Under)

Before the Patriots went 11-5 in 2018, New England had seven consecutive 12-plus-win seasons. Since Brady took over the reins in 2001, the Patriots have won fewer than 11 games just three times with no losing seasons. With six total games against the Jets, Bills and Dolphins and two matchups with the Giants and Redskins on the schedule, the defending champs should continue their dominant run.

Prediction: Over

New York Jets: 7 Wins (-165 Over/+140 Under)

One AFC East team besides the Patriots isn't going to be awful. The Jets have the best chance to fill that spot. Sam Darnold showed real signs of improvement at the end of last year, and he now has a star playmaker in Le’Veon Bell. New York’s defense might not be very good, though it should play well enough from Week 8-13 when the Jets face six mediocre quarterbacks.

Prediction: Over

Buffalo Bills: 6.5 Wins (-186 Over/+155 Under)

There’s way too much juice on the over to bet the Bills. Josh Allen’s inaccuracy is going to be a major issue if he’s unable to be as prolific of a runner as he was at times last year. A slow start to the season could cripple Buffalo, considering they end the year with five straight games against the Cowboys, Ravens, Steelers, Patriots and Jets, three of which are on the road.

Prediction: Under

Miami Dolphins: 4.5 Wins (-150 Over/+125 Under)

The Dolphins might be this year’s version of the 2018 Cardinals with Josh Rosen playing under center, given little chance to succeed. Ryan Fitzpatrick won’t be the starting quarterback for long since Miami has to see what it has in Rosen. The team doesn’t exactly have a dangerous group of playmakers. The wide receiving corps is made up of a bunch of veterans that have never had a 1,000-yard season. The Dolphins might have the league’s worst offensive line, which will translate to one of the NFL’s worst records.
