Antonio Brown remains unsigned although most feel some NFL team will pick him up soon. The NFL trade deadline is on Oct. 29 and squads are looking for help in the wide receiver position. There are teams in contention looking for a receiver. The list includes the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, and the Seattle Seahawks.

Most of the teams have at one point been linked to Brown. The 49ers hardly tried to trade for him when they had the chance. The Bills and the Seahawks were rumored destinations but nothing went down. The Cowboys make sense but nothing has rumbled. A reason for this is his antics and tantrums.

With the Oakland Raiders, Brown had an unforgettable stay. That included a foot injury due to frostbite from cryotherapy. After that, there was also that celebrated unsafe helmet issue. The last straw was when he confronted Raiders general manager Mike Mayock and called him a cracker, Yahoo Sports reported. In summary, teams who consider Brown will also inherit these shenanigans.

However, it is winning time in the NFL and teams need to bulk up if they are to make the playoffs. The said teams could revisit Brown’s availability and take him in but only until the end of the 2019-20 season. The probability of seeing that should increase if available talent in the free-agent market grows thin.

Regardless, it appears Brown is ready if ever he does get a call. He last played for the New England Patriots and has since been indisposed. According to a report from TMZ Sports, the 31-year-old was spotted at the official football field of the Hollywood Police Athletic League. Footage of Brown working out was shown and he seems to be in tiptop shape. It turns out that Brown has been working out there for years. It dates back to the time when he was still with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In a related development, it appears Brown’s battle to recover $30 million from the Raiders just took a hit. Oakland revealed text messages showing Brown sought his release from team owner Mark Davis. This further backs the claim that Brown was attempting to get out of his contract with the team before the NFL season started.
