NFL Week 15 Saturday Games: Best Pick For Vikings-Colts, Ravens-Browns, Bills-Dolphins
Week 15 features the NFL's first slate of Saturday games for the 2022 season. All three contests include a first-place team. The Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills are all favored.
Here's a look at the best pick to make for each game on the Saturday schedule. Betting odds come from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Indianapolis Colts (+4) vs. Minnesota Vikings, 48.5
The Vikings are the NFC's No. 2 seed, but they have been outscored by their opponents over the course of the season. Minnesota is going to win the NFC North because it has won so many close games, particularly against weak opponents. The Vikings might cover the four-point spread, but there's a good chance that they'll win another nail-biter that's decided by a field goal.
Minnesota is 10-3 straight up and 6-6-1 against the spread. The Vikings have three wins by exactly three points. They rank dead last in total defense and could let the Colts hang around. The Minnesota money line is the safest option for Saturday's first game.
Best Pick: Minnesota -198
Baltimore Ravens (+2.5) at Cleveland Browns, 37.5
Saturday's AFC North battle could go either way. Baltimore is down to its third quarterback, meaning Anthony Brown is likely to get the start. Deshaun Watson has played like a third-string quarterback, still shaking off the rust after missing nearly two years of games. No matter which team comes out on top, the contest in Cleveland is likely to be an ugly one.
A cold and windy forecast won't help either quarterback. The Ravens were already struggling to move the ball when Lamar Jackson was under center, scoring fewer than 17 points in three of the last four games. Baltimore has also given up 14 points or fewer in four of the last five contests. Given the Browns' offensive issues, this could be the lowest-scoring game on Saturday's schedule by a good margin.
Best Pick. Under 37.5
Miami Dolphins (+7.5) at Buffalo Bills
Miami's bid to challenge Buffalo in the AFC East is quickly fading. The Bills have taken a two-game lead atop the division. After beating the Jets and Patriots in back-to-back weeks, the Bills are primed to defeat the Dolphins and all but guarantee themselves a third straight AFC East title.'
Buffalo held New England and New York to 22 points combined, winning both matchups by at least eight points. The Bills should do the same against the Dolphins, which are coming back to down earth amid Tua Tagovailoa's worst stretch of the season. Tagovailoa only thew for 186 yards against Buffalo in Week 3. As long as the Bills avoid the self-inflicted mistakes that they made in their first matchup, Buffalo can beat Miami by multiple scores
Best Pick: Buffalo -7.5
