Nick Cannon Confirms Baby With Ex Brittany Bell, Talks Relationship With Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon is going to be a dad again. The “Wild ‘N Out” star stopped by The Breakfast Club Thursday and confirmed that he’s expecting a baby with his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Bell.

At first when Cannon was asked about the baby rumors, the actor brushed it off refusing to confirm or deny the speculation. However, when host Angela Yee asked Cannon again whether he was sure the baby wasn’t his, he responded: “Who said it wasn’t mine?”

Cannon added: “I got a baby on the way. Absolutely.”

“God said be fruitful and multiply,” he joked. “I’m doing the Lord’s work out here.”

During the interview, Cannon was also asked about his ex-wife Mariah Carey calling off her engagement to James Packer. The “America’s Got Talent” host refused to comment on his ex’s split, instead saying that he and Carey don’t talk about their personal lives unless it involves their two children. “I’m on a need-to-know basis,” he said. “As long as my kids are good … I don’t want to know none of that other stuff.”

Us Weekly reported earlier this month that Bell was expecting, and Cannon is the father. The 28-year-old former Miss Arizona USA confirmed the pregnancy last week sharing a photo of her baby bump. “Children are a gift from God,” she wrote.

On Tuesday, Bell posted another baby bump picture showing off her Halloween costume. “Throwback Tuesday?... lol. Life growing inside you is fun during the holidays.. people ask what I/we dressed up as .. well.. here you go #gumballmachine #bubble,” she wrote.

Cannon and Bell have not revealed the baby’s due date or whether they are expecting a boy or a girl.
