Nick Cannon Shares Loving Instagram Post About Ex-Wife Mariah Carey On Mother’s Day; Promises He Will ‘Always Love’ Her

It seems there’s no bad blood between exes Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey. Although they’re currently in the middle of a messy divorce, the 34-year-old took to Instagram to wish his estranged wife a happy Mother’s Day.

Cannon uploaded a photo showing a bikini-clad Carey playing with her 4-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. In the post, Cannon thanked Carey for “blessing” him with their children. He also complimented her, calling her “a wonderful, thoughtful, festive, loving and nurturing Soul” and “a true Queen.” He assured followers that, no matter their situation, he will always have love for the 45-year-old singer.

“Gotta represent for the mother of my children. She is such a wonderful, thoughtful, festive, loving and nurturing soul. I will forever be in debt to you for blessing me and the rest of the world with Roc & Roe. A true #Queen Will love you always @MariahCarey #HappyMothersDay,” he wrote.

Despite being separated, Cannon and Carey appear to remain cordial. They have reunited numerous times, most recently to celebrate Easter this April where they participated in an Easter egg hunt at the Bronx Zoo with their kids. Both Cannon and Carey shared photos from their time together.

The couple was married for six years before Cannon filed for divorce in December 2014, according to TMZ. Prior to the divorce, stories had been circulating suggesting that the couple may be having issues. However, Cannon claimed at the time that those rumors were false.
