Is Nicki Minaj Getting Engaged? Fans Believe Nas Will Propose To Girlfriend

Although the year isn’t over quite yet, Nicki Minaj’s fans already believe they know what 2018 holds for the rapper. After realizing that her boyfriend, Nas, liked an image of a diamond ring, fans began to speculate whether the “Ether” rapper had plans on proposing to his girlfriend.

Fans of Minaj noticed that the “Illmatic” artist liked a video featuring a pink diamond engagement on the Pristine Jewelers NYC Instagram account, and began to post comments about a possible proposal from Nas.

One fan who saw Nas’ admiration of the video shared her hopes that it would result in an engagement for the “Motorsport” rapper. “This is for my good sis, Nicki. I’m speaking it into existence!” the fan wrote.

Another fan urged Nas to take the initiative of purchasing the ring for his girlfriend. “@nas get Nicki one,” the individual wrote.

Meanwhile, one fan was excited about the possibility that the couple may be taking a huge step in their relationship. “Nas & Nicki. Yall ain’t ready! #Nasika,” the Instagram user wrote.

The couple was first romantically linked together in May, after sharing a cozy photo together on their Instagram accounts. Shortly after, Minaj confirmed she had gone on several dates with Nas while appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

By September, the “No Frauds” rapper attended Nas’ 44th birthday party, where they were spotted kissing. However, sources attempted to downplay the seriousness of the romance.

“Nicki and Nas are just very dear friends nothing romantic. They’ve been friends forever and have seen each other’s careers take off,” an insider told E! News at the time.

“Nicki is single now and dating but nothing serious. Nas is a best friend to her so as of now nothing is stirring up. People always joke around though that they make a great couple!”

Another source later told the media outlet that the two were actually together and exploring their romance. “Nicki is not the type to date around,” the insider revealed.

“They are still getting to know each other.”

Although Minaj seems to be content with the state of her romance, it looks like Nas isn’t opposed to the idea of simply looking at a few engagement rings.
