Nicki Minaj And Nas Taking Relationship Slow After Sharing Passionate Kiss

Despite Nicki Minaj and Nas’ passionate PDA session during the rapper’s 44th birthday party, the new couple isn’t interested in rushing their relationship. Sources close to the artists revealed that the two are taking things slow.

According to TMZ, both Minaj and Nas have told friends that they are taking their time and not moving too fast with their new romance, however, it’s hard to believe that things are not getting serious between the two seeing as they are in constant contact.

The stars reportedly FaceTime with each other every day and text all the time. Due to their hectic schedules, they are not able to see each other in person as a much as they would like to but they do make efforts to see one another and are adamant about staying in constant contact.

Minaj and Nas were even able to quietly meet up in Los Angeles and Miami, Florida before heading to New York City to celebrate the rapper’s birthday where the two shared a steamy kiss. The “Rake It Up” artist even gave her rumored beau a special shout out following his birthday celebration.

On Thursday, the star shared a photo of herself and the “Illmatic” rapper embracing one another. “The legend himself... #EscobarSeason,” she captioned the photo. Even though the cozy picture makes it seem like the romance is progressing, there are some who believe that the rappers are just friends.

Following the birthday bash, a source told E! News that the artists are not carrying on a romance. “Nicki and Nas are just very dear friends nothing romantic. They’ve been friends forever and have seen each other’s careers take off,” the insider revealed.

“Nas and John Seymour have recently just opened their second restaurant Sweet Chick in LA. The original Sweet Chick is in THE LES in NYC. Nicki has been to both spots and always supportive of him and his new ventures,” the source added.

Instead, the person close to the pair believes that the two are more of a support system for one another, saying, “They share a really close friendship and always has each other’s back.”

Minaj, who announced her break up with Meek Mill earlier this year, previously told fans that she would be focusing on her music. “To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u,” she tweeted in January.

In May, Minaj and Nas began to fuel romance rumors after sharing a couple like photo to their Instagram accounts, however, the duo has yet to confirm whether they are exclusively dating.

“Nicki is single now and dating but nothing serious. Nas is a best friend to her so as of now nothing is stirring up. People always joke around though that they make a great couple!” a source said.

Considering Nas was all over Minaj at his birthday party and the two later shared a kiss, it seems like a friendship may be a thing of the past for the artists.
