Speaking for the first time, Nicole kidman admitted that she was sad that her adopted kids chose to live with Tom Cruise after their divorce in 2001.

They live with Tom, which was their choice, the 43-year-old Rabbit Hole star admitted to Hello! magazine.

Nicole has a 2-year-old daughter Sunday Rose with husband Keith Urban and they live in Nashville. She said to the magazine I'd love them to live with us, but what can you do?

She admitted in another interview that she was proud of the way they have been brought up by Tom Cruise. “They are healthy and sane and together and are great, great people. So I'm not one of those people that needs to be reminded of what I have.'

She said that having her two year old daughter lessened the pain of not having them with her. She revealed that she had heard that theycall their stepmom Katie Holmes mom and it was fine with her.

On being quizzed about why they named their daughter Sunday Rose she revealed that was because Sunday was the happiest day for both her and her husband keith after they met.

Nicole kidman was photographed with her adoptive kids last on the sets of Australia in 2007. The kids , Connor and Isabella are now 15 and 18 respectively.
