Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Gets Married: Jersey Shore Star Weds Jionni LaValle

After more than two years of being engaged and two children later, reality television star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi married her fiance Jionni LaValle Saturday afternoon in a ceremony in East Hanover, New Jersey. Snooki, who rose to fame as the result of the MTV reality tv show “Jersey Shore,” tied the knot in a much more traditional setting than that for whichPolizzi is typically recognized.
The Catholic ceremony and reception was attended by many of her reality TV friends, including fellow co-stars Jenni “Jwoww” Farley, Sammi Giancola and Deena Cortese, who all took part in the wedding as one of Polizzi’s 15 bridesmaids.
Polizzi’s fans got a first look at the bride ahead of the ceremony when she took to Instagram and Twitter, posting a photo of herself in her gown and veil holding her bouquet of flowers along with a message to promote the TV show that filmed her nuptials, saying: “Hey booboos! Here is my first photo from my wedding today! Make sure you tune into Snooki & JWOWW on MTV 10/9c to see me walk down the aisle and marry the man of my dreams. xoxoxo Love always, Nicole.”
According to a report by Hollywood Life, the nuptials had a Great Gatsby theme, which was the groom’s idea, inspired by the Leonardo DiCaprio-led remake of the classic film and novel. Fitting with the theme, the bridesmaids wore strapless black gowns with period hairstyles and matching prohibition-style headpieces.
Polizzi and LaValle’s two children, their 2-year-old son Lorenzo and their 2-month-old daughter Giovanna were also reportedly part of the ceremony.
