There are many different ways to watch “The Nightmare Before Christmas” this year. Disney

It’s officially October, which means it’s now socially acceptable to start watching the beloved 1993 stop-motion movie, “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” It’s a good thing there are quite a few October 2018 TV listings for the movie, as well as ways to watch it online.

The flick, which was produced by Tim Burton, tells the story of what happens when Jack Skellington (singing voice by Danny Elfman and speaking voice by Chris Sarandon), the king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town.

Freeform’s kicking off its 31 Nights of Halloween event, up from the 13 nights it had in previous years, tonight, and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” made the cut for opening night. Right after “ParaNorman” airs at 5 p.m. (all times EDT), the Henry Selick-directed flick will be broadcast at 7:10 p.m.

This won’t be the only that time that iconic film airs as part of the network’s programming event. You can also catch it:

  • Tuesday at 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 13 at 1:15 p.m.
  • Oct. 14 at 9:30 a.m.
  • Oct. 20 at 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 21 at 3:20 p.m.
  • Oct. 29 at 9:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 30 at 6:45 p.m.

The final day of Freeform’s event, which is Halloween, will not feature a showing of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” because it’s reserved for a full-day marathon of “Hocus Pocus.” There will be one showing of the movie after another, save for the 11 a.m. hour, which will feature “Disney Pixar’s Toy Story of TERROR!” for the first half and “Decorating Disney: Halloween Magic” for the second.

If having to wait for the movie to come on TV isn’t easy for you, then you can always watch it online instead. Last year, the movie was available to stream on Netflix, but that’s no longer the case. Luckily, the movie has found a new online home. “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will be added to Hulu’s catalog on Tuesday at 3 a.m. EDT. It can also be watched online immediately on YouTube, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Vudu. To see the flick on those platforms, it’ll cost you a few bucks. Renting and buying options begin at $2.99 and go up to $17.99.

Get even more “The Nightmare Before Christmas” content when you purchase a digital copy from Disney’s Movies Anywhere service. It comes with an audio commentary version of the movie, as well as a fun sing-along version. There are also “making of” clips, deleted scenes, featurettes and storyboard videos to check out.

For the die-hard fans who want to see the film come to life, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl will be putting on a 25th anniversary concert on Oct. 26, 27 and 28. The event will have appearances from Elfman, Catherine O’Hara (Sally) and Ken Page (Oogie Boogie) and will feature a live orchestra, scenery projections and special guests, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Tickets are now on sale on Ticketmaster and begin at $37.50.
