It’s no secret that Nikki Bella and John Cena are an item, but for a long time, the two were unable to interact with one another on screen. On Monday, The Bella Twins YouTube page released a video of Nikki describing what it was like to work with her boyfriend for the first time on live television.

Bella explained that she was “insanely nervous” about appearing alongside Cena in the WWE universe, although she had always wanted to work with her beau.

Cena and Bella’s couple debut happened on Feb. 28 on “SmackDown” when Cena and The Miz were arguing in the ring. Bella came out when The Miz’s wife, Maryse Mizanin slapped Cena for threatening her husband.

Bella then entered the ring to warn Maryse about messing with her boyfriend, she and Cena then shared their first kiss in front of an arena filled with WWE fans.

Prior to their appearance together on television, the two had only ever worked together one time, and it was during a “Dark Match” that wasn’t televised. “When you get to work with your loved one, it’s unlike anything ever,” Bella said in the video.

Although she has had the opportunity to work with her twin sister Brie Bella and her brother-in-law Daniel Bryan, Nikki insisted working with “the love of my life” was a completely different experience. Bella and Cena’s interaction in the ring along with their sweet kiss received a positive reaction from the crowd.

The wrestler admitted that the kiss put her on a “total high,” and from the looks of things, Cena seemed more than content to show the world just how much he loves his lady.
