Nikki Reed And Ian Somerhalder Wear Azzuro For ‘Youth’ Premiere At Cannes

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder made their first red carpet appearance as husband and wife for the premiere of “Youth” at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. The “Twilight” actress was dressed in a midnight blue formfitting gown, while the "Vampire Diaries" actor looked dapper in a classic black and white tuxedo by Azzaro, according to People.

Reed also slayed the red carpet in a column gown by Azzaro Couture. The sleeveless dress featured contrasting embroidery and a sheer, floor-sweeping cape. The dress is from the French fashion house’s Couture Spring Summer 2015 collection (Look 16). When the actress turned to wave at the crowd, the gown’s backless detailing could be seen, as could Reed's Russian tattoo. The gown highlighted her svelte figure and toned arms.

The actress kept her look simple, with no jewelry except her wedding ring. The actress wore her chestnut brown long tresses in a deep side part, with loose curls falling down over one shoulder in a glossy 'do. Reed accessorized her look with a small black box clutch. For makeup, she opted for nude tones. She went in for eyeliner, bronze blush and nude lipstick.

All eyes were on the newlywed couple as the two posed side by side outside the theater, with Somerhalder stopping to help fix the train of his wife’s gown. The cameras kept flashing behind the smitten couple as they went inside. Somerhalder is the face of Azzuro Pour Homme fragrance.

Somerhalder was excited about the night and took to Instagram after stepping out on the red carpet, sharing a sweet message for his fans. “Such a magical moment to be walking the stairs so many great names in the history of cinema have walked before me… And of course I could only do it wearing @azzaro_official / Thank you @Azzaro_official for making it possible #Azzaro WE THANK YOU!!!!” he gushed.

The pair was among an impressive A-list turnout, including Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Rachel Weisz and Chanel Iman at the premiere. They got married after a whirlwind nine-month courtship in Topanga Canyon in Malibu, California, on April 26. Reed and Somerhalder then jetted off to Tulum, Mexico, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for their double honeymoon, earlier this month.
