Nikki Reed Talks About Being In Love With Husband Ian Somerhalder And Motherhood Plans

Nikki Reed gushed about being head-over-heels in love with her new husband Ian Somerhalder during Maybelline New York’s centennial anniversary last Thursday. The actress has also opened up about plans for motherhood, which she could see herself embarking on sometime in the future.

Newlyweds Nikki and Ian have just gotten back from their South and Central America trip after tying the knot in late April, but it seems that the actress has not gotten over their relationship’s honeymoon phase. "I love him more every second, I don't know what to say," she told People.

Ian, 36, apparently feels the same way about his wife, as he opened up about his personal life at a separate red carpet event during the CW Upfront bash also held last Thursday. Showing off his wedding ring that was reportedly designed by Nikki herself, the “Vampire Diaries” star told E! News that his married life has been “amazing” and the best time he’s ever had.

In addition to the couple’s euphoria on being married to each other, they will also become business partners as well. They have just started their own production company together called Rare Birds, which for Nikki was only a “natural” move.

“Oh, it’s so fabulous. We’re both insanely creative people, and I’ve never been more inspired by a human being in my life,” Nikki exclaimed when asked about how business was going for them. She added that she also wants to direct the film she has written, and said she was proud of her artist of a husband who had just made his own directorial debut when he helmed an episode of "The Vampire Diaries" earlier this year.
