It's love for Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald.

The Twilight star is now engaged to American Idol season 10 contestant Paul McDonald.

E! confirmed that the couple is engaged to be married. The 23-year-old actress showed up with McDonald wearing a diamond ring on her finger. She told E! that he's the one.

Last week, it was reported that McDonald and Reed were looking for a house together. When asked if things are moving too quickly, Reed responded, I love him and I don't care.

I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him, Reed said.

The two met in March while McDonald was still a hopeful on American Idol. He attended a premiere that Reed was also at and the two hit it off. They started dating while he was still in the competition, and the rest is history.
