Nina Dobrev Dating Derek Theler? Actress Kisses Theler Amid Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed Dating Rumors

Nina Dobrev does not seem to be too concerned about ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder’s blossoming relationship with Nikki Reed. While at the Float Bar this weekend at the hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, Dobrev enjoyed her single status by giving “Baby Daddy” actor Derek Theler some affection.

“The kiss from the 'Baby Daddy' guy was in the moment out of nowhere liquor-enabled kiss,” a source tells Hollywood Life. “No tongue and no major passion.” Ironically, Somerhalder, 35, and Reed, 26, were also at the same party.

As "Vampire Diaries" fans know, Somerhalder was dating his co-star Dobrev for three years before splitting in May 2013. Since their split, Dobrev has been linked to a handful of celebrities, such as Derek Hough, Liam Hemsworth, Chris Evans and even another “Vampire Diaries” co-star, Michael Trevino.

Somerhalder also was recently linked to “American Idol” alum Molly Swenson. The pair was allegedly spotted holding hands at an event in April, but Swenson shot down the romance rumors on Twitter.

Last week, Somerhalder addressed his rumored new romance, after he and Reed were seen jogging together in California a couple of weeks ago, before showing PDA while at a farmer’s market. "[Nikki and Ian are] smitten with each other and love spending time together," an insider told E! News.

The 35-year-old actor wrote on Instagram in a post that has since been deleted, ““Ummm, everyone- I hate to break it to you but… You have zero clue what really goes on in other peoples’ lives. It does you or anyone else any good at all to project negative energy out there.

"There is no harm here, I ask you to back off with your negativity, focus that energy elsewhere In a positive manner and let people live their lives. It’s only fair. Thank you and good night.”
