Nina Dobrev Stars In Hilarious Funny Or Die Video Based On Overheard LA Instagram
After wrapping up her chapter with The CW series “The Vampire Diaries,” Nina Dobrev has moved on to a blossoming film career, however, that doesn’t mean she has no time to shoot funny skits every now and then.
On Friday, the “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” actress starred in a Funny or Die video based on the Overhead LA Instagram account. In the video, Dobrev repeats real posts that have been shared on the Instagram page.
In the video, Dobrev is at a sushi restaurant with a pal where she begins to have a conversation using things that have been overheard around the city. “Why would the schedule Easter during Coachella?” the actress asks her pal in one scene.

“It sucks that Van Gogh died before his paintings went viral,” the actress states, continuing her conversation. (Painter Vincent van Gogh died in 1890 after shooting himself in the chest.)
“Every new friend I make is just another person who might ask me to drive them to the airport in the future and I don’t need that. That’s why God invented Uber,” Dobrev says.
The actress continues to say several other things to her friend including sharing some breakup advice, selfie tips and even indulging a bit about her love life. “ We only dated for 11 Instagrams,” the actress jokes.
Overheard LA shares submissions from people in Los Angeles that happen to overhear weird, funny, and philosophical conversations. If the account holder deems it worthy, it gets shared with more than 450,000 followers.
This is not Dobrev’s first Funny or Die video. In 2012, the actress starred alongside Nicholas Braun in “SPF with Nina Dobrev.” In the video, the actors were featured in a music video in which they rapped about hanging out in the sun and applying their sun tan lotion.
She might be a busy actress, but it looks like Dobrev always has time for a little fun.
