Nina Dobrev Teases Next Project, Tells Girls To ‘Have Fun, Be Silly, Be Carefree’
Nina Dobrev may be busy with her Hollywood projects, but she still took time to interesting tidbits about her upcoming project and shared a motivating advice for girls everywhere.
The former “Degrassi: The Next Generation” actress attended the sixth annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles, where she told Instyle magazine that she’s already preparing for her next role. Dobrev also said that she would need to undergo a style transformation for her next character.
“I’m going to be cutting my hair for my next role,” she said. “I’m doing a movie that I haven’t announced yet, so I can’t talk about it, but we’re going to be cutting my hair for that.”
Apart from her upcoming movie role, Dobrev also gave a motivating advice for girls, in which she said they should learn to “have fun, be silly, be carefree.” The actress added that girls should “listen to whatever [they] want to do” and not to dwell on what other will say because “it doesn’t matter.”
“It’s what matters to you and what you believe in and what makes you happy and what makes you smile that will get you through the day” she told Instyle. “So don’t be affected by other people’s opinions because everyone will have an opinion and you can never appease everyone—I have to remind myself of that daily.”
In a recent interview with Collider, the former “The Vampire Diaries” actress shared the importance of taking time off to enjoy life, hang out with friends and be silly. Dobrev stated that there should be a balance between work and play. She stressed that one should “work to live, not live to work.” The star went on to say how she worked for several years and has taken some time off to relax and have fun.
“You’ll look back and regret it later,” she said. “If you don’t take advantage of your youth and your ability to travel. And it gives you something to pull from and inspiration to play your characters, and for your life and your development as a human being.”
Meanwhile, Dobrev and boyfriend Austin Stowell made their red carpet debut as a couple during the premiere of Stowell’s movie, “Bridge of Spies” held earlier this month, according to E!News. The two looked dashing together as they posed for pictures at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
Other Hollywood celebrities who attended the “Bridge of Spies” premiere included Tom Hanks, Ed Burns, Steven Spielberg and many more.
“Bridge of Spies” hit movie theaters on Oct. 16.
