"No Man's Sky" is upping the stakes once more, unveiling another update to perk up the curious minds of space explorers. Hello Games gives gamers the "Desolation" update, a chance to explore derelict capital ships and getting some upgrades for their vessels as well.

From the released trailer alone, the "No Man's Sky" Desolation update should easily capture the fancy of adventure-loving gamers. Aside from that, stepping into the abandoned ships already sends chills to players who want to venture into the unknown. But wanderers need to be alert as well. Some evil creatures lurk, meaning there is some peril included when boarding these abandoned ships. to get a better idea of what to expect, check out the trailer below.

"No Man's Sky" gamers can also get to know more about what happened to these abandoned ships. A glimpse of the carnage or destruction alone should increase the sense of curiosity of gamers. Going from one section to another, sleuthing into the unknown should render some tense moments especially when some creatures appear from nowhere. Some may be dangerous while others may not. Just the same, it would be best to be always on guard.

"Terror in the face of the unknown, or the dawning realization that you're treading in the footsteps of those who met a lonely end at the edge of the universe - it's a rich science fiction tradition, and one not touched on in No Man's Sky - until now," according to Hello Games.

Embarking on these journeys will also reap some rewards. That includes some salvageable upgrades that "No Man's Sky" players will come across. Further, the technology or upgrades that can be salvaged will carry marks of the ship from where they were taken. Hence, players will have a remembrance of that ship that they boarded.

With threats coming from aliens who may be on these ships, "No Man's Sky" players will be glad to note that there are upgrades to weapons as well. These have been tweaked and balanced to improve combat experience though players need to be tactical in dealing with these creatures.
