  • Nokia X20 passes FCC certification, paving the way for its expected debut at the April 8 HMD Global event
  • Nokia G10 will be the cheapest phone among the three expected to be unveiled
  • Nokia X10 will be slightly lower in price than the Nokia X20 variant

Nokia brand licensee HMD Global will be holding an event on April 8 where three new mobile phones will be unveiled. The new devices expected to be launched at the event are the Nokia G10, Nokia X20 and the Nokia X10. Of the three, it appears the Nokia X20's debut is all but certain after passing Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification.

The Nokia X20 will have a display measuring 6.5 inches, according to the FCC documents. It will also feature a huge circular camera at the back and will likely come with a fingerprint sensor integrated into the phone’s power button or possibly under the display. There was no cutout indicated in the layouts for a separate fingerprint sensor.

Aside from the display and the biometric security features, the Nokia X20 is believed to come with 6 GB of RAM and run on Android 11 out of the box.

However, there will be another variant of the Nokia X20 that will have 8 GB of RAM. There is no word on what SoC the phone will run on, although speculation is that it will bank on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G. Storage options for the device could be either 64 GB or 128 GB.

As for the camera of the Nokia X20, it is rumored to be equipped with a quad rear camera setup. This includes a 48 MP primary camera, a 5 MP ultrawide camera, a 2 MP depth camera and a 2 MP macro camera. At the front will be a 16 MP front-facing shooter.

The Nokia X20 may come with a 4,500 mAh battery with 10W fast-charging capability. It will be available in blue and sand colors. The forecasted price for the phone is around $412, while the Nokia X10 may cost less at about $353. The cheapest phone of the three will be the Nokia G10, which will be priced at $165.

The Nokia G10 will be a 4G phone, while the Nokia X10 will have a similar Snapdragon 480 chipset with 5G support. All three devices will be announced at the April 8 HMD Global event.
