Obama Farewell Bash: List Of Celebrities At The President’s Final White House Party

While President-elect Donald Trump is struggling to get some big names to perform at his inauguration ceremony, President Barack Obama’s guest-list for his final bash at the White House would put any A-list party to shame.
Obama and his wife first lady Michelle Obama hosted a string of celebrities at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on Friday night in what the president called one “kind of a grown-up party” before he departs office, in an interview with People magazine last month.
Among the VIPs who made the cut for the star-studded affair were Oprah Winfrey (who interviewed the first lady last month), Beyonce and Jay-Z, Samuel L. Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Usher, Eddie Vedder and Academy Award-winner Bradley Cooper, according to numerous reports.
Chance The Rapper shared a message on Twitter to show off his invite to the bash: “Bout to fly 21 hours to DC to bid farewell to the greatest president in US history. God bless you @Potus.”
Here are pictures of celebrities as they made their way to the President’s final White House party.

The last major party held in the White House was Obama’s 55th birthday bash in August, which the Obamas paid for themselves, according to the White House. The guest list then included celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Samuel L. Jackson, Nick Jonas, Sarah Jessica Parker and George Lucas.
