Four people were found dead in a house on a car dealership property in the 17000 block of Highway 62 in Morris, Tuesday.

Investigators believe that it was a triple murder and suicide where the man killed his wife and two young children, one of whom was an infant and then committed suicide himself. Okmulgee County sheriff's office said a family member had called them to report the deaths around 9:12 a.m. (IST).

A family member of the deceased specified that one child was an infant and the other was in grade school.

James Lyons, the Morris Superintendent of Schools said: "We'll start early tomorrow morning with services for our kids, staff, parents, to come in and meet with counselors and be able to visit and share their feelings and emotion, and try to move forward in the healing process."

The neighbors are in shock and they were hesitant to speak about what they heard or saw, however some told the police that these things have happened earlier.

"Knowing that somebody you know got killed, it's bad," one neighbor reportedly said.

"It's really hard to understand what causes a person to do that. What brings it upon them. It's really bad to hear about something like this in a small town like this where everybody knows everybody," said Blake Igert, who was close the deceased.

"I come from a really close family," Igert added. "And I can't imagine anything like that happening to any of my family members."

The sheriff's office confirmed that the bodies will be released to the Medical Examiner's office, which will determine the official cause of death. They also said that they are working to notify the deceased's closest relatives and won't release the identities until the process is complete. The sheriff's office will provide more information on Thursday.
