Olivia Wilde, the fashion-forward actress who has starred in hit films such as TRON: Legacy, The Change-Up, and Cowboys and Aliens, turned 28 on Saturday.

Wilde, who got a huge break on House playing Dr. Remy Thirteen Hadley, has had quite a year.

She wrapped up her time on that show, starred in several movies, finalized her divorce from ex-husband Tao Ruspoli, and came to Kim Kardashian's defense after that one split from husband Kris Humphries when everyone else was just bashing the reality television star.

Wilde has several projects coming up this year, including Blackbird, The Longest Week, and Welcome to People.

The actress, who is also an activist, has been keeping active with organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union.
