Missed the “Once Upon a Time” panel at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif. over the weekend? Fret not! ABC has posted the special sneak peek video from the premiere online.

As we previously reported, those in attendance at the Disney convention were treated to a first look at Season 5, episode 1 during the “Once Upon a Time: An Evening With Snow White & The Evil Queen” panel. Stars Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White) and Lana Parrilla (Regina) were joined by series co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz to talk about all things Season 5 – including Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) as the new “Dark One” and the addition of “Brave” character Merida (Amy Manson).

The video that debuted gives viewers their first look at the upcoming season. And it also set fans up with the first mystery of the new episodes – where in the world is Emma?

The sneak peek starts where the Season 4 finale left off, with Emma getting swallowed by the cloud of darkness and the “Dark One’s” dagger falling to the ground. The blade once belonged to Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyl), but it’s now engraved with Emma’s name.

“How could she be so stupid?” Regina yells after the shock of the moment wears off. “There had to be another way.”

As Snow reminds Regina, Emma saved her life. And that’s something that is definitely taking a toll on Regina.

“Don’t you think I know that?” she fires back. “Now she’s a problem … for all of us.”

Snow insists that her daughter is still good, but Regina has a valid point about the whole town of Storybrooke going into panic mode – “It’s not like she rode off on a unicorn. She got sucked up by a vortex of evil.”

Although no one knows how evil she is yet, Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) doesn’t care about the danger. Despite Robin Hood’s (Sean Maguire) best efforts to hold him back, Hook lunges for the dagger and tries to summon the woman he loves.

“Dark One, with this dagger I command thee – return!” he yells. “Dark one, appear!”

To Hook’s disappointment, Emma doesn’t show her face. And Regina’s not willing to take any more risk with the dagger.

“Put that thing down before you hurt yourself, guyliner,” she tells him. However, Hook is insisting that he can bring back his beloved.

“With it I can summon the Dark One from any corner of the world,” he counters. But that’s where the problem lies.

“Well, there’s your answer,” Regina says. “She’s not in this world.”

So, where could Emma possibly be? Maybe Camelot! Fans of the ABC drama already know that the series will be bringing the storyline to the fairy tale land in order to tell the tale of Merlin, the only person who is able to rid Emma of the darkness. Meanwhile, viewers can’t forget the recently released photo of Emma with Rumpelstiltskin. Perhaps the new Dark One is getting a lesson in evil from the former Dark One?
