'One Piece' 1035 To Be This Year's Last Chapter; Spoilers, Raw Scans, Release Date

The hit manga created by legendary mangaka Eiichiro Oda is on a weeklong hiatus and it looks like "One Piece" 1035 will be the last chapter that will be released in 2021. Fans are looking forward to seeing the upcoming manga installment to feature something noteworthy or special since it also serves as the cliffhanger chapter for Volume 102.

The previous chapter of the manga showcased the wild fight between Queen the Plague and Vinsmoke Sanji, who are both considered as among the top fighters of their respective pirate crew. With Queen's background in advanced science and technology, he was able to possess the same special human abilities that Sanji's brothers have.

Following his flashy demonstration, Queen activated Sanji's invisibility power, which the Beast Pirates' All-Star then used to attack O-Some, the oiran whom Sanji believed he had hurt. After realizing that it was Queen's folly that hurt the oiran, Sanji was enraged and attacked him with Ifrit Jambe.

After this, he attacked the All-Star with Collier and slammed his head into the ground. Sanji did the same to Basse Cote, Paleron, Jumeau à Bifteck, Tendron, Flanchet, Queue, Poire and Jarret.

Still unsatisfied with the barrage of powerful attacks, Sanji then launched a powerful Bœuf Burst, which sent Queen flying backward. With the entire chapter centered on Sanji, some fans believe that the upcoming manga installment would focus on the equally exciting Zoro vs. King the Wildfire fight.

Other fans believe that "One Piece" 1035 would center on the yonko-tier battle between Luffy and Kaido on top of the Skull Dome, which seems fitting for a year-ender chapter. An earlier leak from an insider from Vietnam revealed that Luffy will finally awaken his Devil Fruit during this fight. But since Kaido becomes a lot weaker, he will no longer be able to control the Flame Clouds, thus allowing Onigashima to crash into the Flower Capital.

This leak is unconfirmed and the insider had failed to disclose the source of the information. Insiders on Reddit have not yet shared the latest set of spoilers for the upcoming chapter.

Meanwhile, "One Piece" 1035 is set to release on Dec. 19. The manga will have another break after that, which means that Chapter 1036 will most likely drop on Jan. 2 or Jan. 9. There is a chance that insiders would share the early set of spoilers on Wednesday or on Dec. 14, while raw scans would most likely become available between Dec. 16 and 18.
