‘One Piece’ 980 Scans Reveal Queen’s Surprising Announcement, Supernova Rumble, More

Following its official release on May 24, 2020, “One Piece” is going on a week-long break. But, before that, a new set of raw scans is now available online. It appears that Luffy and Zoro are going to bite off more than they could chew according to the scans.

The fresh set of “One Piece” Chapter 980 raw scans is now available thanks to Reddit user gyrozepp95. Earlier, fans learned from spoilers that Queen the Plague hates one of the Flying Six members. And, he uses the current situation to encourage his subordinates to annihilate Luffy and Zoro.

In the ninth panel of “One Piece” Chapter 980 raw scans, Queen the Plague makes a surprising announcement. According to him, he is going to destroy one of the members of the Flying Six personally. He added that one of the seats is now vacant, suggesting that anyone who could defeat Luffy and Zoro would be the next Flying Six member.

It appears that some fans were right when they predicted that the oshiruko would push Luffy to go on a rampage. It is also surprising that Zoro was able to find Luffy despite the pirate hunter’s messed up sense of direction. After witnessing that some of Kaido’s men were just wasting food while the locals are dying of hunger, Luffy launches his Elephant Gun attack.

Scratchmen Apoo, one of the Worst Generation’s supernovas, saw this and hurled an attack toward Zoro. Despite Roronoa’s expertise in swordsmanship, he claims that he could not see Apoo’s attack, making him too vulnerable. For the uninitiated, one of Apoo’s attacks is called Tatakau Music: Scratch Shan Don, which is the title of “One Piece” Chapter 980.

He first used this attack against Admiral Kizaru at Sabaidy Archipelago. It is most likely the same attack that he uses against Zoro. In one of the panels of “One Piece” Chapter 980 raw scans, Apoo launches an attack against Luffy, where the captain of the Straw Hats crew ends up getting blown away. Zoro picks him up and decides to escape knowing how they are at a disadvantaged position.

But, Kid enters the picture and decides to attack Scratchmen Apoo, calling him a “backstabber.” “One Piece” Chapter 981 is set to arrive on Jun 7, 2020.
