“One Piece” Chapter 991 would allegedly show some members of the Straw Hats going against Luffy’s decision, according to the latest spoilers.
The latest set of spoilers for “One Piece” Chapter 991 was shared by Reddit user camformystrawhat. In the previous chapter, fans saw X Drake offering Luffy his allegiance after his cover was blown. It appears that the Straw Hats’ captain accepted X Drake’s offer, but some members of the crew did not wholly accept his decision.
According to “One Piece” Chapter 991 spoilers, Zoro is not in favor of Luffy’s decision to make X Drake their ally. Aside from Zoro, Jinbe and Franky are also not in favor of their captain’s decision. Zoro would allegedly go to a certain length of confronting X Drake following his captain’s decision.
Luffy’s acceptance of X Drake’s offer is no surprise to “One Piece” fans. The Straw Hats captain has a reputation of making quick and irrational decisions. The fandom saw that countless times in the series.
This is also not the first time that members of the Straw Hats disagreed with their captain. But, in the end, all of them love Luffy that they end up accepting whatever it is he has wrapped his mind around. Despite Luffy’s easy-go-lucky attitude, he always sees something special in people.
Luffy’s decision of receiving X Drake’s allegiance is not malicious, strategic or political. He made it clear that all he wants is for people to be free. While fans know that X Drake’s inclusion is a major boost to the alliance’s chance to win the war against Kaido, Luffy probably sees his offer as a plea for help.
With X Drake allied to the Straw Hats, the crew gained a strong hand that could help them defeat the Numbers and get to Kaido faster. “One Piece” Chapter 991 is titled “Let Me Die!” It is scheduled to arrive on September 28.
