Kaido seemingly hinted the key to defeating him is revealed in the latest set of “One Piece” Chapter 993 spoilers.

Thanks to Reddit user gyrozzep95, the fandom now has a new set of spoilers for the upcoming chapter. The latest “One Piece” Chapter 993 spoilers hint that despite their collective efforts, members of the Akazaya Nine were unable to defeat the powerful emperor. Interestingly, several details in the spoilers suggest that Kaido may have given the fandom a clue on how he could be defeated.

“One Piece” Chapter 993 spoilers note that Kaido saw Oden’s shadow in the Red Scabbards’ attack. The vassal used the Togen Totsuka, which could be the same attack Oden carried out when he wounded the King of the Beasts. This explains why Kaido was reminded of the Daimyo of Kuri, but he apparently snapped out of it when he realized that the Akazaya Nine is not as powerful as their master.

Their attack, although powerful, was not able to open the wound that Oden caused several years ago. Kaido allegedly told the Scabbards that there would never be any samurai as strong as Oden, according to “One Piece” Chapter 993 spoilers. This line seems to contain mockery for the scabbards and admiration or respect to Kozuki Oden.

The latest “One Piece” Chapter 993 spoilers also note that Kaido roared and released Kamaitachi Wind Blades from his mouth. This reportedly cut Kiku’s entire arm, which could explain the devastated look on the face Izo in the previously leaked panel. In the earlier set of spoilers, it mentioned that Kaido left the roof of Skull Dome after releasing the attack.

These are just spoilers and while most of the details are accurate, there might be variations with the official manga. Based on “One Piece” Chapter 993 spoilers, the path to ultimately defeating Kaido is having a stronger Armament Haki. The Red Scabbards could have defeated him, but they lack enough power. So, to defeat the King of Beast, one needs a stronger Ryou and a little bit more of Oden.
