OnePlus 3 Rumors: Leaked Photo Surfaces Along With Concept Model

OnePlus 3 rumors have now started few months after the release of OnePlus 2. Meanwhile, the next “flagship killer” has been spotted in a leaked photo as well as in a concept model created by Jermaine Smit.

According to Times News UK, a glimpse of the concept model of OnePlus 3 can be seen in the short video. The smartphone seems to sport an elegant metallic frame with curvier appeal compared to the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 models. The publication has also revealed a leaked image of OnePlus 3.

The sandstone rear that are available on the predecessor models seems to be replaced by brushed metal on the purported OnePlus 3 smartphone. Rumors suggest that other OnePlus 3 variants will be also available with rear panels made up of sandstone and ceramic.

The OnePlus 3 features a dual-tone LED flash for the rear-facing camera. The smartphone may also feature a flash for the selfie camera. Previous OnePlus 3 rumors have suggested that it will be arriving with stereo speakers at the front. It will be also equipped with a USB Type-C connector.

In December, a leaked render of the OnePlus 3 smartphone had surfaced. Speculations suggested that it would be coming with a full HD display that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The size of its display is predicted as 5.5 inches.

It will be driven by Snapdragon 820 chipset, which will be powering other 2016 flagships like Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, LG G5 and Xiaomi Mi 5. The SoC will be accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Rumors suggest that a 5 GB RAM model may arrive with 64 GB of storage.

The main camera of the OnePlus 3 is speculated as 13-megapixel. Like its predecessor, the newer model may house the same 5-megapixel selfie camera. It is pegged to arrive with a large battery of 3500 mAh. As far as OnePlus 3 release date is concerned, it is expected to get unveiled in summer this year.
