The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is a stylish, expensive and more exclusive variant of the 7T Pro lines with 12 GB of RAM. But, after the Chinese firm’s official launch event, the mobile world didn’t hear anything about this premium-looking device. However, this week, the US-based wireless network T-Mobile and OnePlus announced a major mobile partnership involving the release of this new hardware in the highly lucrative U.S. mobile market.

According to Android Authority, the 5G variant of the McLaren Edition will be offered exclusively on the T-Mobile network. The 5G variant is the same McLaren Edition smartphone that OnePlus has revealed at the company’s launch event earlier this month. So, what to expect from the 5G variant of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition?

Like the 4G version of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition, the 5G variant also comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ mobile chipset, Andreno 640 GPU and 6.67-inch OLED screen (QHD and 90Hz). It also features the same camera system, the triple rear camera setup, which includes the 48-megapixel, the 16-megapixel ultra-wide, and 8-megapixel 3x telephoto. The new device also comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera on a pop-up mechanism.

There are some reports about the Chinese firm planning to offer a slightly bigger battery capacity for the 5G variants of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. However, OnePlus has decided to stick to the default and original 4,085mAh battery capacity. Like the 4G version of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition, the 5G variant also gets the Warp Charge 30T fast-charging technology, which is 23 percent faster than the Warp Charge 30 charging technology used on the OnePlus 7 Pro series. Data transfer and connectivity are also supported via the USB-C port.

As for the pricing and availability, T-Mobile has yet to announce its cost and some details about its second 5G smartphone. The company said that it will provide more details later this year.

Meanwhile, while still waiting for T-Mobile’s confirmation, you can also check the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G at Sprint. The new smartphone is, reportedly, available at $840 on the US-based wireless network Sprint. So, don’t get surprised if the T-Mobile-exclusive 5G McLaren Edition comes a little bit more expensive than Sprint’s 5G phone.
