'Orphan Black' Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'Transitory Sacrifices Of Crisis'? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
“Orphan Black” Season 3 kicked off with a ton of new mysteries -- the biggest being the male clones. It was clear the Project Castor clones (Ari Millen) were going after the Project Leda clones (Tatiana Maslany), but it wasn’t revealed why. The synopsis for Season 3, episode 2 gives viewers some clues about the male clones’ motives.
The men want the women so that they can get “original tissue samples,” according to the episode synopsis. It seems they’re working on their own science project. In the process, they’ll make a mistake that lets Sarah and Art (Kevin Hanchard) get closer to them. “The Castor boys are also out to play, toying with a frightened young woman, Patty, in a sexy switcheroo that ultimately sets Sarah -- and Art -- hot on the Castor trail,” the synopsis teases.
Once Sarah gets close enough, she’ll realize that “they may have a mysterious defect that puts their lives in peril,” the summary says. Could the Castor clones be getting sick like Cosima? It looks like the boys may have the same problem the girls face. However, it doesn’t look like they’re willing to work together.
Helena also might be faced with a Castor clone. The pregnant clone will be “examined by a mysterious new villain,” the synopsis teases. Previous trailers have shown one of the male clones looking into the box in which she is being held captive. He could very well be the bad guy to whom the synopsis refers.
