Osama bin Laden hideout search reveals porn pile
Pornography was among the materials discovered in Osama bin Laden’s Abbottabad hideout, Reuters reported U.S. officials as saying. The porn pile consisted of extensive modern electronically recorded video footage.
The porn stash was discovered by U.S. Navy SEALs during the raid two weeks ago who confiscated a trove of information about al Qaeda and its leader. It is uncertain whether Osama bin Laden viewed any of the pornographic materials or obtained it himself. Pornographic materials are commonly seized from raids on Islamic militants, according to the officials.
Bin Laden’s compound operated without the use of internet or phone, leading officials to believe that his main mode of electronic communication was carried out with digital USB thumb drives. The method proved to be effective as Bin Laden’s data files remained undetected before the SEALs raid.
Officials are already overwhelmed with evidence collected by the SEALs, filing through one million pages of data uncovering instructions and strategic guides for attacking the U.S. More has been discovered about al Qaeda and bin Laden in the last week than in the past ten years.
The latest discovery of porn pile in bin Laden’s compound is going to throw new light in the secret life of the world’s most wanted man.
