Oscars 2015 Red Carpet: Lady Gaga Wears Red Gloves, Talks About Engagement To Taylor Kinney

Looks like Lady Gaga took a style tip from Amal Clooney and decided to sport a pair of gloves at the 2015 Oscar awards. The 28-year-old singer, who will be performing a “Sound of Music” number at the 87th Academy Awards, donned a white Alaia Azzedine dress that took over two months to make, according to the singer. Lady Gaga then accessorized her dazzling gown with a pair of ruby red gloves. Talk about a pop of color!

But not all were impressed with Lady Gaga’s fashion choices. Twitter quickly went wild, referring to the singer’s statement gloves as dishwashing gloves.

However, the performer’s gloves were quickly overshadowed when she was asked about her recent engagement to actor Taylor Kinney. Lady Gaga explained that she and her husband-to-be have not yet started planning their big day because she’s been too busy rehearsing for the Oscars.

Lady Gaga then revealed that she was flying solo at the Hollywood event. “He’s at home watching on TV,” she explained why Kinney wasn't by her side. “He has work in the morning!”
