"Upside" star Kevin Hart recently revealed that he has no regrets over his decision to step down from his Oscars hosting gig.

During his appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" this week, the comedian was asked by host Stephen Colbert if there was anything he would change about how he handled his Oscar-hosting controversy.

Hart just said that he wants to put it all behind him. "I'm just over it," he said. "It's an onion. So no matter how many many times you keep peeling it, it's just endless. There's no end to it."

"I apologized," he continued. "I apologized again. I apologized after that apology... Every headline is 'He apologized.' I'm done. I did it. I'm over it."

This interview comes before his new movie with Bryan Cranston, "The Upside," dethroned box office hit "Aquaman" over the weekend.

Hart's new film earned $19.6 million this weekend from 3,080 theaters across the United States and Canada, unseating "Aquaman" from the top spot the Jason Momoa-starrer has been occupying for three weeks now.

Well, it seems Hart really has no need to worry about the "hostless" Oscars as the "Avengers" may pick up the slack.

After Hart decided to ditch the Oscars hosting gig, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that the 91st Academy Awards will be continuing on without a host this year. But it looks like the organizers may have found some big names to help present awards at the now "hostless" Oscars.

A new report claimed that the cast of "Avengers: Endgame" will be helping host the 2019 Oscars. Robert Downey Jr., Chadwick Boseman, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and more "Avengers" stars will reportedly appear at any given moment during the ceremony, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources reportedly told the outlet that several big stars from Marvel Studios were asked not to present awards at the 2019 Golden Globes in order to raise more hype for their Oscars appearance. The move will apparently also be good publicity for the final movie of the "Avengers" series, which will premiere in theaters this summer.

The 2019 Academy Awards will be held on Feb. 24. Meanwhile, "Avengers: Endgame" will hit theaters on April 26.
