Iska and Aliceliese’s last encounter on the battlefield made a lasting impact on them. To change the scenery, Iska decides to attend an opera in "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World" Episode 2. However, she might cross paths with Iska again. The new episode is titled "The Encounter of the Two Nations’ Ultimate Weapons."

The official website released the synopsis for "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World" Episode 2 teasing Iska and Aliceliese will bump into each other at an opera house.

Aliceliese tells Rin, her trusted aide, that she wants to go to Neutral City and watch "Tragic Love of Female Knight Beatrix."

Meanwhile, Mismis recommends Iska to watch the opera in Neutral City. This reunion in a no-battle zone will help Iska and Aliceliese know more about each other.

Both Iska and Aliceliese want the war to end and restore peace between the two nations.

In the pilot episode of "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World,” Iska is released from prison after the Empire’s court gives him a chance to correct his past sin. The judges want Iska to form a unit and battle against the Ice Calamity Witch, Aliceliese.

Later, Iska reunites with his old squad — Special Defense for Humankind Third Division, Unit N07 comprising of Jhin, Mismis and Nene.

The mission takes the squad close to The Empire and The Nebulis Sovereignty’s border. However, Iska and his comrades are ambushed by the witches and a fierce battle begins. During the battle, Iska and Aliceliese showcase their powers. Toward the end of the episode, Aliceliese and Rin decide to retreat and face Iska in the future.

The cast of the anime series includes Sora Amamiya as Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX, Yuusuke Kobayashi as Iska, Ayana Taketatsu as Risiya In Empire, Aya Hisakawa as Millavair Lou Nebulis VIII, Jun Kasama as Nameless, Nao Shiraki as Mismis Klass, Kaori Ishihara as Nene Alkastone, Yumiri Hanamori as Rin Vispose and Shunichi Toki as Jhin Syulargun.
