‘Outlander’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 4 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘La Dame Blanche’? [VIDEO]
Jamie and Claire’s mission is finally going to allow them to spend time together. The two have been separated for much of “Outlander” Season 2. Jamie has to go to the brothel to make political advances while Claire has to be a proper lady. However, in episode 4 of the Starz drama, she’ll get to be with Jamie during his political manipulation.
“Claire and Jamie throw an elaborate dinner party intended to derail investors in Prince Charles’ war effort,” the synopsis teases. Of course, no party Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) throw can go off without a hitch. Expect plenty of mishaps before dinner is even served.
Watch the trailer for “Outlander” Season 2, episode 4 below:
The Duke of Sandringham (Simon Callow) will be on the guest list, and just as Claire feared in episode 3, he’ll bring his secretary Alex Randall (Laurence Dobiesz), Black Jack’s (Tobias Menzies) little brother. Will that force Claire to finally tell Jamie that his rapist is alive?
Elsewhere, the couple will be focused on overcoming what Black Jack did to Jamie. “He and Claire struggle to regain their physical intimacy,” the synopsis teases. The two have had trouble in the bedroom all season, but they might finally make some progress in this episode, titled “La Dame Blanche.”
Unfortunately, any celebratory moments will not last long. Episode 4 will also prove that Paris isn’t exactly a safe haven. Claire will be poisoned, and it’ll give her a good scare. “So when this happens, first of all she goes to Master Raymond [Dominique Pinon] who she considered her friend and interrogates him over whether he had any part in it,” Balfe told the Hollywood Reporter. “But she has her suspicions that it’s the Comte St. Germain [Stanley Weber]. She starts to realize that there's a lot of danger in Paris and that she needs to maybe be more careful.”
“Outlander” Season 2, episode 4 airs Saturday, April 30 at 9 p.m. EDT on Starz.
