‘Outlander’ Season 3 Spoilers: Best Moments From Jamie And Claire’s Reunion Episode

“Outlander” Season 3, episode 6 finally gave fans what they’d been waiting for since last year: Jamie and Claire finally reunited. Their extended reunion episode was filled with sweet, heartfelt moments and a few humorous scenes too. Below are the best moments of the episode.

Claire Doesn’t Turn Away: “Outlander” picks up just before the last episode left off, and we see Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) reuniting in the print shop again. Jamie spills oil on his pants when he faints after seeing Claire, and he has to change his pants. He asks Claire to turn away, but she isn’t about to stop looking at her man. “It’s alright,” she says. “We are married.”

The First Kiss: It’s the first of many kisses for the newly reunited “Outlander” couple. From the music to Jamie’s shy request for permission, this was pretty perfect.

Jamie’s Reaction To Bikinis: Jamie is thrown by the idea of photographs to begin with, but he’s happy to see Brianna (Sophie Skelton). He is not, however, pleased about the invention of bikinis. He thinks she’s basically naked on the beach.

“Do You Want Me?”: Jamie needs to know what exactly Claire came back for. They’re different and they’ve been through a lot. He can’t be sure she’s here to pick up where they left off. Claire assures him that yes, she’s here to be his wife again.

The Sex: Jamie and Claire’s reunion sex scene might be the longest one in “Outlander” history, or maybe it’s just the best. The two take their time in this scene, but they aren’t exactly in sync yet. They stumble and giggle and Claire even worries that she broke her nose at one point. Aside from the fact that Jamie and Claire’s bodies haven’t changed in the past couple decades, it’s pretty much perfect.

Jamie Praises Claire: When Claire says she’ll never leave again, Jamie reminds her that she did what she had to for their child. He know she’s a good mother.

Jamie’s Declaration of Love: In the last episode of “Outlander” Season 3, Claire told Brianna that she feared Jamie had fallen in love with someone else. After their first night together, Claire finally gets the courage to ask Jamie (although she can’t even look at him when she asks). “No. No, Sassenach. I’ve never loved anyone but you,” Jamie says.

Jamie’s Confusion: O.K., this isn’t just a single moment, but Jamie’s confusion is too entertaining not to include. It’s not just photographs that throw off Jamie. Zippers, bicycles and Jell-O all make the Highlander scratch his head.

Of course, Jamie and Claire cannot avoid trouble for long. A strange man starts poking around Jamie’s room looking for his ledgers. Claire tells him to get out, but the man threatens to rape her and starts to choke her. The reunion bliss was nice while it lasted.
