‘Outlander’ Season 4 Spoilers: When Will Brianna Show Up?
“Outlander” fans may have been a little disappointed that last week’s cliffhanger with Brianna traveling through the stones wasn’t addressed at all in tonight’s episode of the Starz drama. Luckily, they won’t have to wait much longer to see Brianna in the 18th century.
The synopsis for “Outlander” Season 4, episode 7 reveals what fans have known all along: Brianna (Sophie Skelton) is in the past. “Brianna follows in her mother’s footsteps and travels through the stones back in time to 18th century Scotland where she struggles to make her way to the Colonies to find her parents, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe),” the synopsis says.
The promo video for episode 7, titled “Down the Rabbit Hole,” shows Brianna in the past. She won’t immediately meet Jamie, unfortunately. Instead, she must find her way from Scotland to the New World, and it’ll be a tumultuous journey, to say the least.
That’s not all, though. The trailer shown after the episode makes it clear that Roger (Richard Rankin) will hear the buzzing when he visits the standing stones. The synopsis confirms that he isn’t far behind.
“Meanwhile, Roger follows Brianna into the past and embarks on a harrowing sea journey,” the summary teases. It sounds like it might take Roger a little while to catch up with his time traveling love.
While “Outlander” fans might be disappointed that Jamie didn’t see Brianna, he saw his other child in episode 6. Lord John Grey (David Berry) brought Willie (Oliver Finnegan), now known as William, to Fraser’s Ridge this week. Though they got into some trouble, Jamie seemed delighted to be reunited with his son, though William is still unaware that Jamie is his biological father.
“Outlander” Season 4 returns with Brianna and Roger on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. EST on Starz.
