One of the first decisions players will make after completing the prologue is choosing their "Outrider" class. Each class or path comes with an ability set that players will use for the rest of the game. Here are some tips and tricks on which class to pick for solo and starting players.
Best Class For Solo Play
The Devastator and the Trickster are some of the best classes that "Outriders" players should choose when they are into solo play. The Devastator, while not the flashiest, is the tank class in the game. Essentially, this class's survivability could mean that the player could stay alive in almost all situations in the game. The Devastator can use barriers, rock armors and AoE earthquakes to force enemies into easy-to-handle zones.
On the other hand, the Trickster class depends on their powerful defensive and offensive abilities to defeat opponents quickly. This particular class has greater mobility than the rest of the classes in "Outriders." The Trickster has a Life Leech weapon that helps them offset their close-range healing. They can survive as a solo Trickster using their warp ability.
This class also has the time-slowing bubble ability that can be used to trap enemies in a tar pit effectively. This allows the Trickster to take out opponents in a systematic way. This ability also comes in handy as a defensive shield.
Best Class For Coop Play
The Technomancer is the best class that "Outriders" players should choose when they are into coop play. This particular class is designed as a specific support class and fits players who prefer less role in the ground. Also, the Technomancer is the only class that can heal squadmates--the best coop team member.
When choosing classes for a coop team, "Outriders" players should make the Technomancer a default member considering its healing ability. The Technomancer features AoE heavy defensive skills. This class also has the ability to buff its aggro-generating turrets with various types of elemental status damage.
"Outriders" is the new coop role-playing third-person game from People Can Fly. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Stadia.
