Owen Wilson has still not met his only daughter Lyla, his ex-girlfriend Varunie Vongsvirates has claimed.
Wilson's ex told the Daily Mail that the "Wedding Crashers" actor, 52, has never had any contact with their 3-year-old daughter — despite maintaining relationships with his two older sons.
"He has never met her, unfortunately," Vongsvirates, 37, told the outlet Monday after their daughter turned 3.
Vongsvirates took to Instagram Saturday to share a sweet photo of blue-eyed, blonde-haired Lyla, who is a lookalike of her famous father. "Happy 3rd birthday to my wild child! I love you so much!!!!," she wrote.
A rep for Wilson has not yet responded to a request for comment, according to the publication.
In 2019, Vongsvirates told the same outlet that she begged Wilson to be a part of their daughter's life several times, but that he is "not involved at all" with Lyla and has "never" even met his youngest child.
"He helps financially but it’s never been about that," she said at the time, adding, "Lyla needs a father. It’s ironic how [Owen] keeps getting these father roles, he's playing a father in his new movie, and he's never met his own daughter."
Wilson played father Nate Pullman in the 2017 coming-of-age drama "Wonder." He will next co-star with Jennifer Lopez in "Marry Me," which hits theaters in February 2022.
Wilson and Vongsvirates casually dated for five years before they called it quits. After she welcomed their daughter in 2018, he underwent a paternity test, which confirmed he was Lyla's father.
At the time, an unnamed source told Us Weekly that the "Marley & Me" star wasn't interested in having a role in his third child's life, adding, "He even checked the no visitation box in court in June … He does not want to visit [and does not] want any custody of her."
In contrast, Wilson seems to have a great relationship with his two other kids. He shares 10-year-old Robert, who is named after Wilson's father, and 7-year-old Finn, with exes Jade Duell and Caroline Lindqvist, respectively.
In 2017, Wilson discussed his bond with his two boys when he appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"It’s unbelievable. I mean, anything Ford says is just, like, the funniest thing ever, and I can make a joke and it’s, like, crickets. It’s like nothing from those guys," he said, referring to his eldest son Robert by middle name Ford. "I’m already sort of seeing how they’re gonna be as teenagers, where they’re gonna be sort of be ganging up on me."
