Sarah Palin was in the spotlight on Monday for reading crib notes written on the palm of her left hand during an interview at the Tea Party convention in Nashville.

Palin read the notes from her hand during her question and answer session with Tea Party founder Judson Phillips. The gesture was magnified because earlier during a speech, Palin had called President Barack Obama a charismatic guy with a teleprompter.

According to a photography taken by the Associated Press, the words written on Palin's hand were energy, budget cuts, (Which was crossed out), Tax, and lift American spirits.
