Paul Mescal And Phoebe Bridgers Seemingly Confirm Romance At LAMCA Art+Film Gala Red Carpet
Paul Mescal and Phoebe Bridgers seem to have confirmed their relationship at the LACMA Art + Film Gala. Their red carpet debut happened one week after they made the internet go wild with photos of them cuddling up together at a Halloween celebration.
Mescal and Bridgers, who have been embroiled in romance rumors for more than a year, appeared at the annual gala Saturday in style. Bridgers attended the affair wearing a vibrant red plaid skirt that perfectly matched her beige blouse, which was made of sheer lace material and featured ruffled sleeves. She complimented her Gucci outfit with bright red lips and copper-colored smoky eyes. Meanwhile, Mescal arrived at the event donning a black-and-white tuxedo with a matching bow tie.
While the two are yet to confirm their relationship, photographers at the event captured photos of them staring at each other lovingly and cozying up to one another. Their appearance marked their first official joint public appearance since they were first caught up in dating rumors in mid-2020.
Last week, Mescal and Bridgers sent fans into a frenzy after comedian and host Ziwe shared never-before-seen photos of her Halloween celebration on Instagram, one of which showed Mescal and Bridgers hugging each other tightly. Despite the buzz, the pair has remained tight-lipped about the relationship rumors.
According to W magazine, it’s possible Mescal and Bridgers have been going out for some time now. In December 2020, Bridgers featured Mescal in her “Savior Complex” music video, dropping yet another hint of a possible romance. Earlier that year in June, the “Motion Sickness” singer also called Mescal a “cute boy” during an interview with NME Magazine.
“I got a little pitter-patter in my heart when I saw,” she told the magazine when asked about her reaction after she had learned that the actor followed her on Instagram. Back in February, she also wished the Emmy nominee a happy birthday via Instagram Story, writing, “Happy birthday pizza boy @paulmescal.” Mescal then reposted the post onto his page, replying, “Mmmmmm.”
